"Color Dance" is a paper-cut animation. The colors begin to dance to the rhythm of the music. Due to the reduced geometric shapes, the colors begin to move wholly detached from the representational world. Harmonious color tones but also shrill color dissonances are creating an exciting choreography of dancing colors.

Vanessa Cardui, born in 1987, is a Berlin-based video artist. She studied art at the university Hildesheim in Germany. Her work is characterized by artistic metamorphoses. She transforms everyday objects into art pieces by exploring the different animation techniques to bring things to life.
