Heavy fog in November

The film is set in Westphalia and tells the story of 17-year-old Paula, who, in her search for security, fights for her family’s farm and the life of her comatose father. This production is my debut film, also shot in Westphalia and completed in 2024 at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts. We received local support from, among others, the LWL Cultural Foundation and the Westphalian Provincial Insurance Company, and were advised by the Warendorf Machinery Ring. The film premiered at the 58th Hof International Film Festival in October 2024 and won first prize in the Westphalia Connection category at the Münster Film Festival in 2025.
