Originally conceived as a music project for a feminist-collectivist midissage at the
Detmold Design Week 2026, HISS & RATTLE has since come together as an up-and-coming band. Blending political aspirations with communal rhythms, the band combines indie rock and folk influences with emotional harmonies. Comprising Kim and Timo on guitars, Jan on bass, Maja on keys and cajón, and Manu, Kara and Pia as a three-part vocal trio, the band demonstrates that music brings us together and keeps us united. After all, taking a stand deserves its place, particularly in the arts.
