Paul Uhlig

Paul Uhlig was born in 1984 in Hamburg Germany. His time in school was marked by a passion for languages, art, philosophy and most of all music. He was also active in the student counsel and spent six month in London to brush up his English skills. After a year of civilian service he attended the University of Hamburg, majoring in 'media studies', while continuing to work and make music on the side. With his band 'The Knights' he recorded several LPs and EPs and toured Germany and the neighboring countries. After achieving his Bachelor of Arts, he interned in four film productions with director Stephan Wagner, which prompted a shift in focus from music to movies. Producing several music videos for his band was the final spark igniting his love for filmmaking. Since then he has been working as a freelancer first, and lately with his own production company, on over a hundred projects so far.
