On the highest point of the small East German town of Artern stands a FMT8 radio mast. Called THE TALL HARALD, after the towns first post-reunification mayor. Both were Western imports. The mast is still a symbol, but then the image tips over.

Antje Seeger Antje Seeger

Antje Seeger is a filmmaker and visual artist. She took her diploma in media art from the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig in 2012. In 2023 she completed the Professional Media Masterclass for artistic documentary film at the Werkleitz Gesellschaft. 2025 she has been attended the Master Class of TP2 Talentepool. Seeger's video works, films and installations have already been shown internationally. For example, at Goethe-Institute Rotterdam, 16th Media Art Biennale Wroclaw (PL), CITY 46 Cinema Bremen (DE), Festival of Public Art Omsk (RU), James Hockey Gallery Farnham (GB), 35M2 Gallery in Prague (CZ) and the Architecture Days Austria. Working stays and scholarships enabled her to carry out research and productions in Germany, Rotterdam (NL), Sovetsk (RU) or Krems (AT) among others.
