Born in Moscow, Russia in 1983. Studied languages and philology. Made a career as an art director in advertising. At some point Alla began making short films with a bunch of friends. Was noticed by a film production and offered a job as a director. Made a feature film in 2021, a romantic comedy called "Be my Kyrill". Now lives in Tbilisi, Georgia.
