After enduring extreme boredom in the car, 8-year-old Alice decides to defy her father's instructions and follow him into a mysterious building, which turns out to be a brothel. Through the perspective of a prepubescent child, we are exposed to the complex and unfamiliar realm of adult sexuality.

Alexander Marcel Hövel

Born in cologne Germany Alexander Marcel Hövel grew up in a French-German household in the suburbs of the city. After finishing high-school in 2018 he left to travel the world for almost 2 years. After coming back from Asia he started studying sociology at the university of cologne after being exposed to many different cultures and societies. After interning at 2 major films, Kilian Riedhof’s “Vous n’aurez pas ma haîne”(2020) and Sönke Wortmann’s “Eingeschlossene Gesellschaft”(2021, he started making his own short films amongst them ”les yeux d’enfant” (2023), “l’agricultrice”(2022), “Made in Germany” (2023)and “30km/h sur l’autoroute”(2022,) which has been screen at a couple film festivals and won the best first time directing award at the Berlin Kiez film festival. Beside his love for cinema Alexander enjoys exploring different art-forms with his Paining Exhibition “condition humana” he animated digital paintings and projected them on large surfaces.
