Spain / / 00:08:51 min
Rita and Celia are two teenagers with functional diversity that meet early in the afternoon to get ready and look beautiful for a classmate's birthday party. They debate which outfit to wear, although Celia is full of doubts and not too excited about going. Luckily, she still doesn't know that the birthday girl hasn't replied to Rita's text messages asking if they can go to the party or not. After hours of preparation, they will leave aside the "trendy" clothes and decide to dress how they really want, ready to attend the party regardless of the invitation.Block 4

Claudia Arribas
Sociologist with a Master’s in Film Directing from ESCAC. For the past six years, she has been a member of Bruna, a cooperative that brings visibility to transformative initiatives through audiovisual storytelling, where she works as a screenwriter, creative director, and producer. After directing and writing several documentaries, in recent years Claudia has been exploring the intersection between fiction and documentary genres. In 2025, she premiered her first fiction short film Uninvited at the D’A Festival, produced by Bruna and ESCAC, and starring two natural actresses with disabilities. The film, co-written with its protagonists, marked a turning point in Claudia’s career, and she is now following the same participatory and collaborative approach with Sort de tu, her first feature film. In 2022, she co-directed the documentary No Callarem, un film per la llibertat (Bruna), which won an award at the In-Edit Festival, along with other Bruna productions such as Después de las ocho (2021) and Quan plou sobre mullat (2023). In 2016, she directed her first film, Nuevos viejos tiempos, a short created during her Master’s in Documentary Filmmaking at ECIB. In this short, she began to explore the use of fiction language applied to real stories and characters — in this case, her grandparents.
