Portrait of a Train Station

Porträt eines Bahnhofs

Germany / Comedy / 00:09:02 min

The station doesn't have a particularly good reputation. An ugly, functional space where we spend time without staying. Inconspicuous, public, anonymous. You pass through it, use it and leave it behind. It is a place without identity and history, where you hurry between here and there to catch your train. But is that really all? The film attempts to give a glimpse of the places of transit, which are otherwise often lost in the hustle and bustle of events, and examines the role and significance of the train station. It shows architectural features and tells the stories of people who pass through the stations every day. It is a portrait of a railroad station.
