MusicStories - The Authority

Germany / Music Video / 00:03:20 min

The anthology series "MusicStories" series tells stories inspired by classical music in six episodes. "The Authority" is based on the “Sabre Dance” by Aram Khachaturian. Mara is sitting among other people waiting in a public authority waiting room. She has drawn a ticket and stares mesmerised at the large wall clock, whose second hand is constantly moving forwards. She waits hour after hour while time moves mercilessly to the beat of the music. The other people waiting tap their fingers and feet nervously, just as rhythmically. A single official, responsible for all those waiting, stamps and stamps - but no one is called. In the end, the young woman has to take her fate into her own hands.
