MusicStories - Je te veux
Germany / Music Video / 00:06:01 min
The anthology series "MusicStories" tells stories inspired by classical music in six episodes. "Je te veux" is inspired by the classical piece of the same name by French composer Erik Satie. Henry strolls past a bakery and sees Ayla, the baker, working behind the counter. Their eyes meet. Henry takes heart, enters the bakery and orders something, but ultimately doesn't dare speak to the baker. Over the next few days, he enters the bakery again and again, but although the two are obviously attracted to each other, they never strike up a conversation. Two regulars observe the two and wonder, as do the viewers, whether the two will ever get together?Music Stories

Matthias Hektor Ventker
Matthias Hektor Ventker began his piano training at the age of five. After starting out in a musical family home, he soon learned to play classical piano in Osnabrück and jazz piano in private lessons at university. The "keyboard virtuoso" (Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung, 07.10.2019) studied performing arts at the Leibniz University of Hanover, where he directed the choir for the course. He is also a lecturer at the "Task" acting school in Hanover and Hamburg in the field of musicals. In addition to various acting roles on stage and in front of the camera, as well as productions at the theatre "Probebühne Osnabrück" and at the University of Hanover, which Matthias Ventker directed, he performs as part of the piano cabaret duo "Munter mit Mannis" – a two-person musical that won the "Kulturkanapees" price in 2019. He also demonstrates his interpretative skills on the piano on various occasions. He collaborates several times a year with the Lower Saxony Institute for Religious Education, the Bad Essen Art and Museum Circle and the Kulturring Bohmte. Together with Elena Walter and Emanuel Fusillo (Blickfänger Filmproduction), Matthias Ventker repeatedly develops projects combining music and film.
