Film maker
Martin Kingman

Martin Kingman, a 29-year-old filmmaker, has been immersed in the Ecuadorian jungle since childhood, thanks to his parents' work in defending indigenous territories. This early experience deeply connected him with nature, rivers, and the diverse Amazonian cultures, instilling in him a strong concern for the environment and the preservation of the region's natural wealth. Martin has closely collaborated with several organizations, including Amazon Frontlines and Alianza Ceibo, dedicated to defending indigenous territories, preserving cultures, protecting the environment, defending rivers, and indigenous education. His focus on filmmaking allowed him to tell stories that shed light on the social, cultural, and environmental issues affecting the Amazon and the most vulnerable populations in Ecuador.
