Felippe Martin
Felippe is a Colombian filmmaker who has been working in Quebec City since 2012. He is a graduate of Concordia University (Canada), as wellas Septima Ars (Spain). As a director of photography his work is manifold, ranging from animal documentaries to dance films and fictional or documentary series shot around the globe. As a director his work revolves around questions of identity, notions of ritualism and sacredness. His artistic approach is defined by a very intimate documentary style, that often becomes socially engaged and ethnographic. Felippe est un cinéaste originaire de la Colombie, qui œuvre à Québec depuis 2012. Il est diplômé de l’Université Concordia (Canada), ainsi que de l’école Septima Ars (Espagne). En tant que directeur photo sont travail est très varié, allant du documentaire animalier aux films de danse et aux séries de fiction ou documentaires tournés autour du globe. En tant que réalisateur, son travail s’articule autour des questions identitaires, des notions de rituels et de sacré. Sa démarche artistique se définit par une approche documentaire à caractère intime, social et parfois ethnographique.
