And Then We‘ll Fly Together

Germany / / 00:08:45 min

Sancho and Don set out on a brotherly trip, but what begins on a light and harmonious note turns into a journey into another reality. Don’s inner world begins to fracture as he sinks deeper and deeper into his fantasy world. He listens to the emptiness of the gorge, speaks of voices in stones. What once inspired Sancho now frightens him. Feeling responsible for his brother, Sancho stays close, becoming his last anchor to reality. When Don pushes Sancho away for the first time to fight a giant, their shared world collapses. Sancho reflects on his brother and on the pain of letting go. And Then We’ll Fly Together is a quiet drama about brotherhood, fragile perception, and letting go.
