In the middle of the night, art comes to life in Flensburg’s Norderstraße. The artist N.M. transforms plain house walls into small, vibrant artworks with her signature cat motifs. The film captures her personal thoughts and follows her journey from the first sketch to the late-night painting session, highlighting both her passion for the creative process and her wish for anonymity. Encounters with curious passers-by, unpredictable funny situations, and spontaneous moments that make the heart race accompany her on this creative adventure. This short film offers an authentic glimpse into the creation and meaning of art in public spaces. Shortly after filming, artist N.M. was awarded Flensburg’s Culture Prize.
