Charif Ounis

Charif Ounis is a filmmaker, actor and founder of Ounice Productions, based in Cologne, Germany. After studying acting at the Internationale Akademie für Filmschauspiel (IAF) in Cologne, he began directing and producing his own short films before founding his production company in 2020. Alongside his work as a filmmaker, he has been teaching at the IAF since 2020, directing and producing the academy’s graduation films. As an actor, he has appeared in productions for ARD, ZDF and SAT.1, bringing his experience in front of the camera into his work as a director.
