Rebecca Jahn

Rebecca Jahn, born in 1998 and raised in Freiburg, discovered her passion for feminist content, female perspectives and strong female roles during her first degree in Media and Cultural Studies at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. After successfully completing training as a media designer for image and sound, she decided to study film at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences, specialising in directing and screenwriting. In her most recent works, "Die kleinen Dinge" and "Systemfehler", she engaged intensively with the lives of single mothers and the beautiful but also challenging everyday moments that come with it. Her central concern is to strengthen the visibility of women and thereby enable them to gain increasing relevance and influence within the film industry.
