Diego Fandos
Diego Fandos is a Spanish filmmaker who has written and directed TV commercials, documentaries, and the feature film "Cosmos", which participated in the San Sebastian Film Festival and was commercially released in 2008. His short films "Under Pressure" (2014) and "Aurora" (2017) have been selected and awarded at numerous international festivals. "Aurora" was included in a curated exhibition at the Moravian Gallery in Brno (CZ, 2023). His most recent works are the short films "Tango" and "29 de febrero" (2024). "29 de febrero" — starring renowned Spanish actors Ramón Barea and Zorion Eguileor — has received several first-prize audience awards at festivals (in Spain, Greece, Germany, USA...). Diego is the author the handbook "Writing for Short Film" (2019), which is used in prestigious institutions such as the Savannah College of Art and Design. He collaborates as an expert for the Creative Europe Programme (CREA, MEDIA, European Union). Screenwriting professor in Prague Film School since 2008.
