Sawat Ghaleb, a seasoned Iraqi-German filmmaker and journalist, who has worked for many german channals, like ZDF, ARD, Arte and DW. Born in Iraqi/Kurdistan, short film The Goldfish(6 Min) has been nominated, at London International Filmmaker festival, for the best foreign short film 2016. Corpse Nr51(5Min) won best experimental shortfilm at International independent Berlin Filmfestival 2018. Zara(4Min) won best Director at lebanese International filmfestival, LIFF 2018. For a Kiss in Baghdad(5 Min) Nomination at ECU The European Independent Film Festival.
