Hannah Wolney

Hannah Wolny was born in 1996 in Nuremberg, Germany. After finishing school, she spent several years abroad, earning her money with a wide variety of jobs - ranging from children's ski instructor in Japan to ‘chicken sitter’ in New Zealand. Her interest in street photography and documentary filmmaking was awakened during her travels. Back in Germany, she began shooting and editing documentary films for a production company. Since 2019, Hannah has been studying ‘Film Directing’ at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, where she was able to deepen her understanding of documentary film as well as find her love for fictional storytelling.
