“Fallen” is an experimental short film that contrasts the quiet motion of living trees with the abrupt stillness left behind after destruction. Beginning in a world full of natural rhythm and movement, the atmosphere shifts as cut tree trunks, darkness, distant gunshots, and a blood-red moon signal danger and violence. The film traces the sudden absence of life both in nature and metaphorically on the battlefield culminating in a stark final question, urging viewers to reflect on the cost of so many who have fallen.

Georg Vladimirskij, Ilij Zaharov

Georg Vladimirskij, born in 2007, and Ilij Zaharov, born in 2008, both attended primary school until 2018. They are currently enrolled in the 12th grade at the Christian Dietrich Grabbe-Gymnasium in Detmold. Since 2018, they have been involved in the production of numerous short film projects for their school. In 2022, they produced a video documentary for a summer project at the Landesmuseum Detmold. Their creative journey continued with the production of a short film titled “Beans” in 2023, followed by another short film, “The Silence,” in 2024 wich was again followed by another short film in 2025 called "Fallen".
