Emma dances in bunker-like catacombs at an illegal rave. She stumbles upon an American soldier, who warns her of an impending danger. Without enlightening her further, he disappearrs in the tunnel network. Emma decides to get to the bottom of the matter and runs after him. In her search for answers, she not only loses her way in the labyrinth of tunnels, but also almost loses her mind. Her curiosity finally drives her up a ladder. She looks down on a seemingly peaceful city at dawn. And then alarm sirens sound...

Joscha Bürger

Joscha Bürger was born on December 20, 1997 in Witzenhausen, but spent the majority of his childhood in the Allgäu, South Germany. After several years of professional experience as a freelance lighting and stage assistant for cinema and television productions he began his studies in “Audiovisual Media” in 2020 at the Stuttgart Media University. Here he directed his first award-winning documentary project “FIONN- some kind of fckn creativity” (2022) and spent two semesters at the “Capilano University” in Vancouver in the subject “Motion Picture Arts”. In Canada, he directed the short film “The Incident” (2023) and back in Germany his current project “Below The End” (2025).
