Julian Franke

Julian Franke (born 2001) is a German screenwriter, director, and up-and-coming actor. He is currently studying at the Technical University, majoring in film. In addition to his academic projects, he is passionately involved in the local film scene: He is a co-founder of the campus’s own university cinema as well as the student short film contest. Even while still a student, Franke gained a wide range of practical experience in various departmental roles. Among other things, he wrote screenplays for creative stop-motion projects, directed several short films, and repeatedly appeared as an actor in front of the camera. His work is characterized by a broad understanding of narrative and visual storytelling techniques.
