Elena Rid, born 2003 in Munich, has been studying Visual Effects at the University for Television and Film Munich since 2023. Previously, they had fulfilled their passion for visual storytelling and the creation of characters through traditional as well as digital illustration, and were able to gain some experience in 2D-animation. While working on their first short film, Little Star, they now had the opportunity to immerse themself in the world of 3D creation and at the same time could expand their knowledge of cinematic storytelling and hand drawn animation. Vanessa Ramovic, born in Munich in 2002, is a freelance 2D/3D animator and an enthusiastic artist with experience in storyboard, script and concept art. Formerly from the technical school for design in Giesing, she is now studying Visual Effects at the University of Television and Film in Munich, Germany. Vanessa began drawing her first comics at a young age. The more years passed, the more she realized that one day she wanted to bring her story ideas and characters to life. Through her first animated short film “Little Star”, she gained her first experience in a major film production and was able to take a closer look at the animation techniques of traditional cartoon animation and computer-generated 3D animation. Sonja Latussek, born in 2004 in Eggenfelden and from the Bavarian forest near Cham, has been studying Visual Effects at the University of Television and Film in Munich since 2023 in order to finally take a step out of the forest and into the film industry. She has been fascinated by visual storytelling, inventing characters, drawing and 2D animation since she was a child. With her first short film, Little Star, she was able to gain professional experience at the university and get closer to her dream of filmmaking.
