Rudolf "Ronny" Augenheimer

Rudolf, also known as “Ronny” or simply “Auge” (which is German for “eye”) was born in 1978 in the southernmost tip of Germany. From there, decked out in Lederhosen, he started his career as a stunt driver. Attending several video productions piqued his interest in filming so he decided to become a full time POV stunt driver. Ronny has experimented with all kinds of scenarios and rigs and already has a huge variety on his reels: From skydiving yoga to bombastic underwater combat scenes there is nothing he has not done. His evermore daring stunts are partly due to his own unique invention, the “AUGE POV helmet”, a camera rigged to his head. His enthusiasm, talent and production skills make him very easy and very fun to work with. Ronny currently lives in Mainz. He speaks German, English and Bavarian. Ronny cannot imagine a world without POV shots and Bavarian “Blasmusik” combined with an even more Bavarian beer in the mountains. He is currently working on a new gadget – one that will take his exceptional POV shots even further – potentially even to space…
