Damian Szmurlo was born in Upper Silesia, Poland. Since 2001 he lives in Germany. He works as freelance filmmaker, video artist and photographer. His works are characterized by the attention to tell unique stories. They have been shown and awarded at international film and photography festivals. At the moment Damian’s main focus is on social issues.
