Herminio Cardiel

Herminio Cardiel (Valladolid, Spain, 07/30/1984) studied a Bachelor in Audiovisual Communication in the University of Wales. He specialized in Audiovisual Storytelling. He has worked on numerous short film shoots, feature films, spots and music videos, and has TV experience. He combines his cinematographic and advertising work with university education. With his more than 20 short films, he has won many selections and awards at national and international film festivals: Malaga Festival, SEMINCI, Aguilar de Campoo, Medina del Campo, Alicante Festival, New York Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival... He is currently developing several projects, including his first feature film and his first series. Some of his best-known short films are: “Nights”, “Splash”, “The cold side of the pillow”, “Runner”... “Knot” is his 27th short film as a director.
