MusicStories - Clair de Lune

Germany / Music Video / 00:06:23 min

The anthology series "MusicStories" series tells stories inspired by classical music in six episodes. "Clair de Lune" is based on the classical piece by Claude Debussy. For young Georges, one thing is clear: he wants to go to the moon. His longing is immeasurable and he does his best to achieve his goal. He spends nights experimenting on his workbench to build a rocket with which he can start his journey - but everything goes wrong. Even as a young adult, he fails to make the breakthrough. As an old man, he makes one last attempt to make his dream come true. This film is presented in black and white with a 1920s silent film aesthetic, making it a tribute to Georges Méliès' cinematic milestone "Journey to the Moon".
