Two pregnant women, Kathrin Albrecht (43) and Nadine Engels (21), meet at a gynecologist's office for an abortion after a confirmed diagnosis (trisomy 21). While Kathrin seems certain of her decision, Nadine's begins to waver. In the struggle for a decision, "Screened Out" explores the question of what kind of world we want to live in.

Marie Anhut
Marie Anhut (born in Bochum in 2000) completed a federal voluntary service in 2019 at a school for students with intellectual disabilities before moving to Leipzig to study teaching. In 2020, her first contact with a film set awakened her passion for scripts and film production. She gained her first experience as an intern working for the Berlin based production company One Two Films ("Holy Spider"), followed by a job as a set runner during the shooting of the second season of "MaPa", and most recently worked as second assistant director for Mascha Schilinski's debut film "The doctor says, I'll be alright but I'm feelin' blue" (wt).
