While pursuing a bachelor's degree in journalism, I delved into creating an LGBTQ short film titled Hey. This poignant narrative unfolds in a romantic setting where equality reigns, following a girl who connects with another individual through written messages on the back of her chair. Crafting this story immersed me in a world of my own making, fostering a deep empathy for the protagonist's journey and igniting my passion for filmmaking. Through my mentors' feedback, I realized the profound impact of cinematic storytelling in comforting and connecting people, spurring me to pursue a master's degree in film.
