Zhichao Zhu

Zhichao Zhu is a filmmaker and visual artist based in Shanghai and Hamburg. After graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Prague, Zhu works as a registered university lecturer in Shanghai. His films was screened internationally in recent years, festival selections including Toronto Reel Asian Film Festival, Psarokokalo Short Film Festival, Macau Short Film Festival and Beijing Independent Film Festival. He has also won various awards, including the DAAD Achievement Award in Germany, the Audience Award in Shanghai world Short Film Week and the Gold Award in the Jiangsu Art Design Competition in China.
